Teamwork

Just wanted to share some pictures showing what good playmates the girls are becoming. Don't want our readers to think that Elsa and Lily are biting each other ALL the time. They often play together quite well. Here they are with their favorite toy of the moment. Its a block toy from the Beggs family that they received for XMas. They are getting quite good at placing the blocks inside the various holes. The toy makes noise when they get it right.
(Got to love people that send us the noisy toys, always the girls' favorites...nothing is more annoying than the awful talking turtle curtesy of my mom!) They've been using the cube to pull-up. Although, they haven't made it all the way to standing, they are getting close.

On the mobility front, they still aren't cross-crawling. But, they get around. Yesterday, Lily made it from the livingroom half-way down the hall. She has the position right, but she only moves backwards. Elsa is able to move forward, but she is lower to the ground. More of a creep than a crawl. It seems they have inherited their parents' athletic abilities. Sorry kids. *I must note they are already quite adept at turning the pages of books.*

Look, no babies! Last night Jeff and Drew came over to sit with the girls so we could go out for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We went to a fancy California/French restaurant that was totally inappropriate for children. Very fun. No cheerios on the menu.

Emily, I looked through my subscription list for your xanga site and you were gone, then I put in Mark's address and you weren't on his list either. Then I tried to write the actual address and it said that you had shut your site down. Hope all is well with you!

Happy Anniversary!!! I can't believe it has been 3 years for both of you. I still remember what a fun wedding it was and the good time we had in San Francisco.
I just love watching the girls grow up via pictures. They are really beautiful babies. Take care
