Sledding

The girls are back. We've been out of communication while suffering through a plague of near constant illness for the past 10 days. We've all had colds. Then, Elsa developed a rash, earache and conjunctivitis. Poor Lily then developed some sort of flu that gave her fever spikes of 104.5 degrees for 3 days, then a couple more days of mild fever. Very scary. The only time we ventured out during this time was for doctors visits and trips to drugstore. Not a fun last week. Now, it seems the girls are on the mend. They both still have a little conjunctivitis that we're treating with prescription eyedrops. But, we've been fever-free for 3 days.

On the bright side: Lily daytime potty trained herself over the course of the past week. She's been accident free for 4 days! That girl has some of the most amazing willpower and stubbornness that I've ever seen. The kid just basically decided she wasn't wearing diapers anymore and that was that. Still working on the overnights. But, hopefully, we will make some progress. Feeling very tired as she's been screaming for the potty every two hours all night long. (but we're usually too late). I'm trying to convince her it is still ok to wear a diaper/pullups at night. Last night, I got her to finally wear pullups to sleep. But, she still woke herself up everytime she wet. Need to work on a creative solution.

Here's some pictures of us sledding across the front lawn today. Elsa's wearing purple, Lily's in pink.
