Thanksgiving 2007

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Hope everyone had a great holiday. We ended up having a sweet little Thanksgiving, just the 4 of us. The girls were great cooks and helped me make cornbread, cranberries and mashed potatoes. It is so fun to do kitchen projects with two little helpers.

Mark, Lily and the bird. I annoy Mark by making him take a picture with his turkey every year. He did a great job. It was a lot of turkey for 4 people. We have lots and lots of leftovers.

Elsa got a drumstick. Doesn't she look thrilled. She took about 2 bites and was finished. So, Mark ate the rest of it.

The girls levitating a ball with mind control. We had balmy weather for most of the day. I think we must have hit 70. Then, we had a huge wind and rain storm last night. Today, we had a high of 40. 30 degree temperature change in one day. Crazy.

The girls wore their "Probably Politically Incorrect Native American" headdresses for the holiday. They made these for the Thanksgiving Feast at Preschool. The 3 year olds were the Indians and the 4 year olds were the Pilgrims. All the classes made various foods which they shared at a big party. They also have spent the past few weeks making/decorating tablecloths, placemats and centerpieces. I was lucky enough to help serve the meal. And the kids were absolutely adorable. Since I try not to post pictures of other people's kids on the Internet without permission, I cannot provide photograpahic evidence. But, they had a really great time.

I spy blue willow china. I have the same pattern. I love it.

Happy Thanksgiving.

This weather is just ridiculous here.
